Raising Pups
Raising a puppy is a very rewarding and fun task. Just like a child you will always remember and cherish the crazy little things they did when they were babies. For this reason we enjoy raising several litters of puppies each year most of them going back to the Rommel/Gypsy cross. We do occasionally bred out to other males, usually working police dogs, in order to keep our bloodlines from becoming inbreed. These pups will be wormed on a regular basis, given their first set of shots and be eating well when they leave our kennels. We feed Diamond Puppy food to all of our litters. We usually let our puppies leave at 6 weeks as long as they are eating and thriving like they should. When you recieve one of our puppies we want the transition of taking the puppy home to be as easy as possible so that all you have to do is worry about loving and bonding with your new pup. Regular vet care including follow up vaccinations and wormings should be given, however if you chose you can do most of it yourself to save money. If you have any questions once you take home one of our pups just give us a call and we will be glad to give you any advice we have. Taking on a puppy to raise is a big responsibility and should only be considered if you have the time and willingness to accept the responsibility. We will always be here if you need our advise and if a time comes when you are no longer able to care for a puppy you purchased from us we are always willing to take them back inorder to keep them out of a shelter since alot of shelters unfairly refuse to adopt out this breed of dog. We do prefer that they come back with their papers because it makes it so much easier to find them a new forever home. If you chose to take home one of our pups you can be assured that you will not regret the decision or wish that you had bought a pup from somewhere else. We sell our puppies at a cost lower than that of most other comparable pups so that the average family can own one without going broke. We are not out to make a living, we simply breed these dogs because we enjoy making people happy and hearing the stories that so many of our customers have to tell us about their dogs that we have raised. It really makes you feel good when someone tells you that the best dog they ever owned came from the best dogs you ever owned.
